Hello, you have to differentiate between HP+ and HP Instant Ink. HP+ is the free upgrade that makes your new HP printer even smarter - with enhanced functions, automatic updates, improved security and much more ¹. ¹ HP+ - the smarter printing system: Based on the use of technology in the HP+ system and compared to standard HP consumer printers without HP+. HP+ printers are ready when you are - with improved connectivity through Smart Driver and Print/Scan Doctor technology. They're also more secure with Smart Security technology, more productive with HP Smart Advance functions. As far as I remember, only original cartridges can be used after HP+ registration. With the Instant Ink plan you have a monthly quota of pages included for X amount, additional pages cost extra. The advantage is that you no longer have to buy cartridges for a lot of money and the cartridges are always full. But to be on the safe side, please check the HP website again.
Yes Wifi Direct is supported, the information can also be found directly on the manufacturer's homepage. https://www.hp.com/de-de/shop/product.aspx?id=226y0b&opt=629&sel=prn

Yes, that is possible. There is also the possibility to define profiles, e.g. if you want to have duplex/simplex.
