Can this extra bed also be used as a bassinet? Or put another way: Can it be detached from the bed in between and stand on its own in the living room?

Since the page can be raised, it should not be a problem.
Moving it will be a little bumpy, but goes well.

The bed has wheels on one side, but they are a bit paltry. Not suitable for constant moving
