When used regularly from the 34th week of pregnancy, Weleda Perineum Massage Oil softens and makes the tissue more elastic. The massage with this composition, based on the finest almond oil and vitamin E-rich wheat germ oil, relaxes the perineal tissue and increases its elasticity. The circulation-boosting massage effect further enhances the suppleness of the tissue. The gentle blend of natural essential oils is tailored to the sensitive perineal area. Instructions for use
The perineum massage should be performed approx. 3-4 times a week, from the 34th week of pregnancy for approx. 5-10 minutes each time. In a comfortable and relaxed position, moisten the thumb with sufficient perineum massage oil. Massage the oil in between 3 and 9 o'clock. Important: the massage must not cause any pain. Always massage the perineum until you feel a slight tingling sensation. If you are unsure, ask your midwife or doctor for advice.
