Do the mobile phone and the camera have to be connected to the same Wi-Fi or can the camera be connected to another one and the mobile phone to another one?

no guarantee, but according to the product description, the device should be able to connect to the internet via smartphone / pc, so it must also work on 2 different wifi.

Is it possible to use the device without Wifi? In other words, as long as the parent and baby stations are connected, does it work correctly via a direct connection? Without wifi?

The baby monitor only works via WIFI or WLAN. Alternatively, we offer baby monitors, radio. As an example: Alecto DBX-82
