You can read on many websites about WiFi problems with the "Stream 94i". Has anyone been able to successfully integrate this device into their WLAN?

In response to this enquiry (WLAN) and also to the further question about a possible battery operation of the model 94i EU Plus, the following results from my experience:
At the first start-up attempt, I chose the simple way via the connection via LAN cable to my router, which very quickly enabled the mode selection (Mode). Here I selected "DAB" and immediately received a connection to the SRF2 Kultur programme currently playing without any further action. At the same time, all active network connections in my vicinity were shown on the display.
In the next step, I disconnected the LAN cable connection and immediately had a WLAN connection with one of my two wireless connections (5.0GHz) and could also select the 2.4GHz connection.
All other options that are available in the "Mode" (FM, Internet, Bluetooth, DAB, Aux, Music etc.) work flawlessly, and for the most part without manual input.
My router (height above the floor of the room: 1.70m) establishes the cable connection via Devolo system over the existing 220V mains to the sockets in the individual rooms and simultaneously or alternatively enables direct, stable radio connections to all other places in the flat.
I prefer to use this radio for subsequent playback of large audio files stored on my PC (concerts, radio plays, podcasts, also, for example, "Music for a guest" on SRF2) via bluetooth (command: playback on device Stream 94i Plus) as a mobile receiving station. The radio accepts the command via bluetooth to play a PC download even if it is switched off but connected to the mains.
On the Internet, you can download a very good, detailed German-language instruction manual (PDF, 72 pages) for the predecessor model Roberts Stream 94i, which also contains comprehensible graphics.

To the question of another interested party, whether the Stream 94i EU Plus can be operated with batteries: I have checked this model very thoroughly, but have not found the slightest hint of a battery compartment. However, the instructions for the previous model on page 2 state: Mains or battery operation via the supplied mains adapter or optional rechargeable battery (not included).
If a "battery" is mentioned in some comments, it is always the battery of the associated remote control.
Mobile greetings to all listeners! thomi.
