Would you recommend the 6400MHz with CL32 variant (2 x16 GB) or the 6000MHz Neo variant also CL32 with EXPO, which is even a bit cheaper. I ordered the 6400MHz variant yesterday, but I'm thinking that the EXPO variant would be better, with 6000MHz, so that at least at first go the bars work on an ASUS Pro ART Ceator X670e. Sooner or later I will optimise the timings anyway with Expo or without, but I think that these are the same chips anyway and the better 6400 Mhz labelled accordingly. The difference in performance will hardly be noticeable anyway. But if XMP should work on the ASUS right away, then I'll stick with 6400MHz, can anyone say anything about that?
According to ASUS, overclocking would have to be activated in the BIOS for the use of a DDR5-6400MHz RAM bar, as well as for the 6000MHz variant, and it also depends a little on the installed CPU (processor). For X670E I would go for 6000MHz CL30. Everything that clocks higher has a significantly higher probability of not working, according to reviews and experience reports on the net. In practice, the performance feels the same anyway and differences are measurable at best.
