Question about Netgear EX7300 Nighthawk X4

Would like to use the device as an access point and connect the internet via Devolo dLan 500. Doesn't work, no internet... Have used 2 different Devolos, still no internet. Directly at the router it works without problem. Does anyone have any ideas?

Helpful answer

Try to connect a PC/laptop to the unit. Then go to the link in the operating instructions. After that, it should work perfectly. For me, it was pretty quick and uncomplicated.

I was using exactly the Devolo 500, but it could only give me between 10 and 20 Mbits.
I replaced it with the EX7300, which extends the internet connection via WLAN ac in 5 Ghz. An Ethernet cable goes from the EX7300 to a switch and then to my other devices: now they all get the 100 Mbits of my Internet connection!

Hoi jonny, the device is a WLAN extender and must be connected to an existing WLAN. Nix Devolo. The Lan connection on the extender is for a local device without a WLAN connection. Reading the instructions helps - https://static.digitecgalaxus.ch/Files...
