With SSD attached to the dock, the MacBook Pro cannot be charged and draws power from the battery! The product description from digitec is simply wrong or misleading

There are two very similar docks on offer Digiteg.
1. 102591 Compatible brand Unversal
2. 12378368 Compatible brand Apple


Whether they are exactly the same I don't know. I gave mine to my son and it works fine with Mac so far.
