Why does the LaCie Rugged 5TB product only have an integrated USB to USB-C cable? And no USB 3.0 cable?

LaCie products are very often used with Macs. The old USB-A connection has been on the decline for years. Since mid-2016, MacBooks have only had combined USB-C/Thunderbolt ports. (Windows computers, on the other hand, are on average 5-10 years behind in terms of interfaces).
Probably for this reason and for cost reasons, LaCie no longer supplies both cables.
