Why does Galaxus say it's a jack plug and Logitech says it's USB and the tested version says it's USB? What kind of connector is it exactly?

It is a jack plug - as can be seen in the picture - which can be connected to the PC via a USB sound card. The USB sound card is used to optimise sound and microphone quality (Blue Voice), which can also be controlled via the corresponding software.
