which charger is recommended for this? I was told that the headset comes without an adapter. Hence the question.

I have always charged mine with the Samsung charger for smartphones. Charges quickly and without problems.

Basically, you can use any USB A charger, e.g. from your mobile phone. If you really need an adapter, then something like this is perfectly adequate Goobay Dual USB charger 2.4 A - USB power supply with 2 USB outputs - white (12W)
