When I connect the "Philips 279P1/00 (27", 3840 x 2160 Pixels)" to my "MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)" via the supplied USB-C cable and select "USB C" as the input source on the Philips, I get no picture and a message "No Video Input (USB C)".

I have a similar configuration (MacBook Pro 16" 2019) and for me it worked flawlessly, first time. For USB-C, I also need the supplied (rather stiff) cable. My partner has an older MacBook, and needs the HDMI input, also without problems. It switches automatically between the two. ?? Sorry I don't have any useful advice. Excellent picture quality, by the way... :-/
