Question about Sony WH-1000XM5
When I am in a meeting in my home office and my wife is also on the phone opposite, my meeting partners also hear her voice clearly. Noise cancellation is activated. What is the reason for this? Is there a solution?

I use my WH-1000XM5 exclusively for listening to music/podcasts while travelling. So I can't answer this question directly.
However, I spend 6-8 hours a day in team meetings at work and have already tried out various headsets (Jabra, etc.). The only ones that effectively transmit only your voice and really filter out ALL background noise and voices are the Sennheiser Presence.
I wouldn't use ANC headphones for calls; they're not built for that, always use a headset specifically for that purpose.
