What wireless technology is used here? How far does the wireless signal reach and how far can the PC be from the player? Also in neighbouring room where PC is located? (PC in the office, playing area in the living room?) (same as WiFi?). Unfortunately I can't find anything in the descriptions

The wireless adapter uses Intel's WiGig 60Hz technology and therefore does not work through walls. If the transmitter or receiver is covered, no signal will get through. The adapter supports a maximum playing area of 6x6 metres, so I don't think the signal will reach much further than 10 metres (without an obstacle in between).
