What is wiser for Swiss people - to order the international version or the German version? As far as I understand, both versions have the same plug that can be used in Switzerland. However, if I am not satisfied with the limitations of the international version, for example, can I leave a German Amazon address and use the full capabilities of Alexa?

I did exactly as you write. I have stored a German Amazon address and can now make full use of Alexa's capabilities. You can set up your Amazon Echo in a browser via the address "alexa.amazon.de".
