What is the security situation? Meltdown and Co?

I assume that a new generation of CPUs is now on the market (or will be soon) that is safe again without bios, microcode fixes or patches and does not lose any performance. I have little to do with it myself, so I only have a superficial knowledge. If I wanted to build a new PC, the CPU (in hardware) would have to be "bug-free" as far as known. I would not buy hardware that is only secure with some performance-reducing patches if I could avoid it. (Sorry if I don't bring myself up to the level of a security expert for a community contribution. E. may someone from Digitec write something about it. Which new CPU's are corrected in hardware, if any?

Same as with other Intel processors. Or what do you mean exactly?

This should no longer be an issue. Resp. I assume that Windows and Bios are up to date.
