As far as I understand the difference DCPL2530DWG1 vs. DCPL2530DWC1 is the supplier of the device.
The "G1" device comes from Germany, is configured for Germany, i.e. can only speak German (menu of the device). A German mains cable may also be included and an adapter must be used.
The "C1" unit is configured for Switzerland, so the language can be set to German, French, Italian or English on the unit. You will certainly have fewer problems with the warranty, as it is not an "import", which only has a 1-year warranty with the Swiss branch of brother.
