What is the difference between Adagio and the previous version (LG PF1000U)? What type of screen would you suggest for this projector?

As far as i know, the Adagio has Smart Features like on a Smart TV with Apps and a Webbrowser.The VGA port is gone, instead you get a RJ-45 Ethernet port and an additional USB port.
