The trade-in campaign for the GFX 100s states that you have to show proof of purchase of the camera you are trading in. Some of the cameras included in the trade-in are more than 10 or 15 years old (e.g. Canon 1Ds, Nikon D3, etc.). No one will be able to show the original proof of purchase, especially if they bought a camera second-hand.

On the negative side, last week some GFX 100s were available for order at Digitec, and after my order they said the camera would be ready for collection on 8.3. On 8.3. they said the delivery would probably be at the end of March. Which could also mean that delivery could be much later.

The camera may be technically very good, but the sales/marketing of this camera seems extremely unprofessional to me (as of March 2021).

Answer

I think it would be much easier with an offline dealer. Fujifilm will probably have delivery problems due to high demand.
