This product page was suggested to me by a search engine after I searched for a charging case for the product "WF-1000XM5". Have I been misled? Or should compatibility be assumed? Can it be returned if not compatible?

no, the charging case for the WF-1000XM5 is A5061335B for black. The A5061336B is for platinum-silver.

According to our research, the product is compatible with the product WF-1000XM4, so we cannot guarantee whether it would also be compatible with the product WF-1000XM5.
