The purchase price must be immensely high for such a price to be called here. In this case, the prices of the last gen will probably rise again... with this price difference, you can easily buy a 3090 for over 1k.

Do not buy a GPU from the last generation unless you are at least 30% below msrp.
These high prices are only there to push the overpriced old stock to the customers.
