The performance difference compared to the 3700X is less than 2% in various CPU benchmarks (7ZIP, Blender, Cinebench, etc.)! You can save yourself the 80 franc surcharge ;)
not if you want to clock, because the 3700X has only 65W TDP and the 3800X 105W... whereby the clocking is currently such a thing with the buggy AGESA versions X-D
