The docking station always switches off after 3-4 hours, even though the connected computer and display are being used. Does anyone know why this happens?

I had also used the docking solution and had the same experience. Since the picture would disappear from time to time, which was very annoying, I returned the product. The problems occurred at the beginning, but fortunately they didn't last half a year.

Our 11 units were operated in the configuration 1 laptop + 2 OS. After about 1/2 year of use, we had a temporary (short-term) blackout of one screen on all of them. In the meantime we have changed these docks...
