There is a confusion in the sales-related type designations.
General: there are 1 to 6 cordless stations Gigaset CL660 with one charging unit each and 1 Gigasetbox 100 transmit & receive only, or 1 Gigasetbox 200A, transmit & receive with answering machine.

I had not "tried it out". However, I think that these two devices appeared on the market so close to each other that they were equipped with the same SW versions.
