Hello, your question is a bit lacking in knowledge. In other words, when we talk about NFTs, we're talking about ERC721s and ERC1155s. So when an NFT is put in it can be in the Ethereum chain, Polygon or other, see OpenSea platform for example.
So compatible or not, the important thing is to know that an NFT is an ERC standard that you will see in your scan chain, like polygonscan or etherscan, or other chains.
