My router is not strong enough to supply the whole flat with WIFI. But I have a home LAN at the same time. Can the device also use a LAN cable as a source for WIFI?

Yes, that is what the device is designed for. Connect the device with the Ethernet cable that brings the Internet signal from the router. Log in to http://192.168.1.2 via a browser (default ip for the WPA3205 v3) and configure the device as a pure access point. Then just assign the SSID and the WLAN password. You can use the Wizzard for the configuration.
