My laptop only has USB-C. I see a cable from USB-A to USB-C in the pictures. Which end do I plug into the headset and which end do I plug into my laptop?

The supplied cable is a USB-C to USB-A cable. You plug the USB-C end into the headset, you cannot connect the USB-A end directly to your laptop with USB-C only. You will need a USB-C to USB-C cable or an adapter to charge your laptop with USB-C only.
As your laptop only has USB-C, the cable supplied is not suitable for direct connection. However, you can charge the headset with a suitable USB-C to USB-C cable or an adapter. The headset itself is always connected to the USB-C end.
