My current beamer has 4000lm, contrast of 11`000:1 and a resolution of 1920x1080, Can this beamer compensate for the weaker light value through the higher resolution and contrast?
As a user of the H7850 for 3 weeks, the resolution is brilliant and the light value is very convincing even in daylight or with LED light sources influence.
Have been using it for a few weeks now, find contrast and brightness good, even in daylight influence.
I think so. With HD and especially Blue Ray content, you get a nicer picture with the higher contrast (and to a limited extent with 4k upscaling). With 4k content anyway. HDR also has a very positive effect on the overall picture with relevant content. I would also pay attention to the db. More than 3000lm is only necessary for use in daylight, e.g. for exhibitions or conference rooms. If you can darken the room to a certain extent, I would even consider the V7850 model, which has fewer lumens but a greater colour depth (rgbrgb). Often the projectors do not project at maximum luminosity anyway, but reduce the lumens in darkness (e.g. cinema mode).
I don't think so.
