It's confusing, is the WD Black SN850X 4 TB single sided or double sided? I'm basically wondering whether it makes a difference whether it's single or double sided on an Asus ROG STRIX z890 motherboard!

I have the model with 4tb and without heat sink. Mine is fitted on one side. If you have space for the heatsink, then go for the variant with heatsink, as the SSD gets hot under load.
