Question about Corsair Vengeance

It says "Memory For AMD" on the packaging. But I bought it for my Intel computer, where it also works. However, it only runs at 4700 MHz instead of the stated 6000 MHz. Is there a difference between AMD and Intel? And if so, why is this not stated anywhere?

I had the same problem. The "iEXPO" option must be activated in the BIOS.

Corsair has its own strategy when it comes to this. Black and white RAM is for Intel XMP, grey for AMD Expo. Unfortunately, this is not well described here, somewhere at the bottom of the text. I had ordered and got black for Intel XMP. But some motherboards don't care, they can do both.
