Question about Microsoft Surface Go 2
Is this tablet capable of running non-Microsoft programs and getting out of Mode S? Or is it just a simple tablet that can only run Microsoft products? For example, Flash games like Dofus, Minecraft or applications like Foxit Reader, greenshot, Citrix Reciever, Sublime Text, etc.

Windows 10 in S mode is a more limited and locked down Windows operating system. In S mode, you can only install apps from the Windows store and you can only browse the web with Microsoft Edge, so if the apps don't exist in the store, you can't install them.
To complete the picture, I would say that it is quite possible to get out of S mode and use a Windows home version or something else. So you could run all the apps you want.
