I'm not sure I understood your question. The package comes with two memories of 16GB each for a total of 32 GB. I bought two packs, so a total of 64GB, and that takes up 4 memory racks on my motherboard. I always put two memory bars in parallel on my motherboard. So to get 64 GB I can either put two 32GB bars or four 16GB bars. 4 x 16GB is cheaper than 2x 32GB. I hope I've answered your question.
