Question about G.Skill Trident Z RGB
Is this RAM compatible with the following MB? https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/msi-mpg-z690-edge-wifi-d4-lga-1700-intel-z690-ddr4-atx-mainboard-17253030?supplier=406802 I found quite contradictory information on the net, some said it was no problem, but reaching the maximum clock speed was a cramp, others said no chance without giving any reasons. Does anyone here know more or have the memory on the MB by chance?
So I run this Ram on an Asus Tuf Gaming X570 Plus (AMD Ryzen) just had to activate the OC Tuner and set the appropriate MHZ works fine.
Since I'm not familiar with Intel boards, I still give a recommendation, so the 1 would be sure to flash the latest bios but please note how many bios update for the MB if several then you have to install each individually and then try to change the Ram settings. It is important that you download the motherboard manually from the MB producer's page and then know where to set the motherboard tuner on Asus boards it is the OC tuner!
