The Intel 8700k is on socket LGA1151, the cooler H60 get on socket LGA1151and LGA2066.
I can highly recommend the H60, it is very easy to install.

Yes, bought the same wakü for my 7700k and it cools very well. The 8700k gets even less warm than the 7700k. If you don't want to OC to over 5.0GHZ, I can definitely recommend the following
