This is a native USB-C docking station. For it to work, your laptop's USB-C port must support either the alternative USB-C DisplayPort mode (native video transmission via USB-C) or Thunderbolt3.
If you need a docking station that also works with the older USB-A port (USB 3.0), you can contact our technical support directly. We can recommend different options - depending on the required resolution of external monitors and laptop types.
