Is there any way to set the STANDBY mode? The mouse always drains the battery in wireless mode and I don't like that at all. Is this a defect or do others have the same problem?

Is a known problem with the current firmware (0030) of the mouse... the mouse has a default standby timer of 7min, which can be overwritten by the software and then it bugs around. Unfortunately there is no real solution. For me it helped to activate the global standby to 7min in the software (Core 2.1.4). But according to reddit, this doesn't solve the problem for everyone...
