Is the SSD 980 compatible with the Samsung PM991 NVMe M.2? (Is installed, I want to replace) I see the difference in the designation PCIe x4 3.0. Is the x4 also supported by the 980? Best thanks

Good morning... I can't answer that question. I installed this SSD instead of a mechanical hard drive. It now runs on its own.

Samsung 980 M.2 2280 SSD, PCI Express x4 NVMe

On other websites you can find more details such as PCI-Express x4 NVMe, which has the same setup as the PM991 NVMe M.2 mentioned.

Yes the SSD is compatible. x4 indicates how many lanes are used, this is the same as for the PM991 NVMe M.2.
