Is the smoke detector certified in Switzerland? And how long do the batteries last? What kind of batteries are they?

Hello
I can't say anything about the certificate, there may be more information on the manufacturer's website. In the worst case, it should also do its job without a certificate.
The batteries should last 10 years. They are not replaceable. This means that the entire detector must be replaced after 10 years. Nonsense at first glance. However, you have to bear in mind that the detector also ages and thus loses its function (clouding of the light lens, dust, electronics...). Even certified detectors are replaced after 10 years at the latest. So, in terms of safety, the electrical waste should be manageable.
