Is the lens really the Sports version? Or is it the Contemporary version for the price?

This is the contemporary version [C]. It's clear. In my opinion, it's the better choice. The Sports version is an unwieldy lump weighing over 3 kg. The Contemporary version is 1 kg lighter.
