Question about Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM
Is the lens compatible with the Canon Eos 80D? mounted and used without an attachment? Many thanks for your help in advance.

No. It only works the other way round, i.e. an EF lens can be mounted on an EOS Mirrorless camera with an adapter, but not an RF lens on a DSLR (such as the EOS 80D).
Canon RF lenses are only compatible with EOS R cameras (mirrorless), i.e. with RF bayonet, therefore not with EOS 80D.
Conversely, EF lenses with an adapter can be used on a camera with an RF bayonet without any problems.
