The band will probably be available in mid-October... Rely on information from other suppliers

This is not the first time digitec has given some fantasy information about the delivery date.
All other suppliers have known for a long time that the band will not be delivered until mid-October.

For me, this is nothing more than a customer trap and absolutely wrong.

Don't grumble, check fitbit.com: it currently says: "Pre-order. Will be shipped in November". It's unlikely that any retailer will be able to deliver earlier than fitbit itself...
