Is it possible to print in black when the colour toners are empty or not inserted? I know that some brands force to always replace all cartridges / toners of the colours, even if you only want to print black Thanks

I am not familiar with this model, but I had an MFP M476dw and could not print if a cartridge was empty. I would recommend the Brother MFC-L3770CDW which has a "reset-toner" procedure that greatly extends the print time and allows you to print even if a cartridge is empty.
