The only requirement for Google Pay is a credit card. The problem is that when you activate Google Pay on your watch, you are also asked to set a pattern code to unlock your watch. Since I don't want to enter a pattern every time I need my watch, I haven't activated Google Pay.

If the bank supports it, that's no problem.
