Question about Dell UltraSharp U2419HC
Is it possible to connect this monitor with USB-C as graphics input and connect a second monitor with DisplayPort daisy chain? There is no other USB-C port with which you could do the daisy chain with USB-C.
Since I didn't get a clear answer anywhere about this setup, I treated myself to two U2419UC.
Setup:
MacBook pro (2018) - 1st monitor: USB-C
1st monitor - 2nd monitor: daisy chain via DisplayPort
Unfortunately, this doesn't quite work as I had imagined. Daisy Chain only works with "Duplicate" and not with "Advanced". The 1st and 2nd monitor have the same picture.
Now I don't know if the monitor can't do the extension or if the MacBook pro prevents it?
