Is full operation (with specified max. write rates) really possible WITHOUT a power connection only via USB3.0? Somehow the specifications contradict each other ("May be equipped with a power adapter: Yes" vs. "Power supply: Power supply via USB"). In addition, picture 3, where the power plug is visible, is unsettling.
A power adapter is always needed for HDDs. Only SSDs usually do not need one.
