Samsung Galaxy Buds FE
ANC, 3.50 h, Wireless
In the specifications of this product, "Android" is stated under "Operating system compatibility". Does this product also work with MP3 players that have Bluetooth? I have a Sony NW-A45 MP3 player. Can I play music on it? And if so, are there any restrictions when operating the headphones directly (e.g. can the volume not be changed directly on the headphones, but only by operating the MP3 player directly?)

Hello,
Our Galaxy Buds FE are compatible with devices that have at least Android 8.0 installed. For non-Samsung devices, some functions such as ANC and advanced sound settings may not be available.
However, we cannot comment on third-party devices as we do not know the specifications. In this case, it is best to contact Sony customer service.

The Galaxy Buds FE are generally compatible with Android devices as they support Bluetooth v5.2 with the A2DP, AVRCP and HFP profiles. This means that they can also play music with Bluetooth-enabled MP3 players such as the Sony NW-A45, as this also supports Bluetooth.
However, full functionality, such as using the Galaxy Wearable app, is only guaranteed with Android 8.0 or higher and at least 1.5 GB RAM. It is possible to control the volume directly on the headphones with the Galaxy Buds FE via touch sensors, but there may be limitations when connected to an MP3 player. As a rule, the volume control on such devices is mainly carried out via the MP3 player itself, as some control functions of the headphones are designed for compatibility with smartphones.
To summarise: You can use the Galaxy Buds FE with your Sony NW-A45 to listen to music wirelessly. However, the volume change and other controls are probably done directly on the MP3 player, not via the headphones.
