Question about Sonos Five
In the promotional photos, the Five is always free-standing, e.g. on a shelf. Does anyone have any experience of how the sound is when it is placed *on* a shelf and therefore perhaps only radiates to the front?

Hello Martin1606, according to my experience, it doesn't matter where the SONOS Five is placed, it only radiates to the front. However, it should have free space to the sides and up and down, not that the SONOS Five stands recessed in a niche!!!
Since it has no bass outlet to the rear, the SONOS Five can also be placed directly in front of a wall.
