No flicker. The flicker you see in the films is because it's a LED screen and it's a digital camera - LEDs are actually flashing all the time but so quickly that our eyes see them as stable. The quality of the screen os excellent as it should be for the price we are paying. Also, I would not bother with the solar powered ones there is a slight impact on the screen and once fully charged the batteries last forever. Having to charge it every 3-4 weeks is no problem.
