I'm looking for a replacement for my Lumix LX7 and thought I'd go one step further with this camera. How does this camera compare in terms of compactness? Is it small enough to fit in a jacket pocket with the lens included? Will it also fit into smaller camera bags to stow it in a backpack? I don't necessarily want to carry a shoulder bag all the time.

I don't know how big your jacket pocket is ... but it will fit in a smaller camera bag in your backpack. But as soon as you buy a bigger zoom lens, that's the end of it.

I don't know how big your jacket pocket is ... but it will fit in a smaller camera bag in your backpack. But as soon as you buy a bigger zoom lens, that's the end of it.
