If the TV is pushed all the way to the wall with this mount, how much distance does it have to the wall? And how much more is that than with a slimmer, non-swivelling mount?

The minimum distance between the wall and the TV is 64 mm. The maximum is 510 mm. I don't know the distances for non-rotating brackets.
